AEG Facilitates Sales of Behavioral Health Care Operations [more]
7/05/2022In the midst of a highly contentious situation, AEG was retained as restructuring board member to assess a stalled sale process and drive the go-forward path for this roll up of behavioral health care businesses. With a nationwide portfolio of both residential and out-patient facilities, AEG quickly assessed the situation, determined the cash needs of the business and attracted fresh capital to sustain operations. Working with the Company’s investment banker, AEG oversaw the sale of various units to three strategic buyers, assuring continuity of operations and preservation of the majority of jobs. The engagement also included facilitating the wind-down of the remaining business activities, including providing transition services to the buyers, negotiating litigation settlements, and monetizing non-operational assets.
